Constance Burch. Dodgson befriended her when he was in his early sixties and she was 38 years old. She dined with him in his rooms, went to London with him to see shows, and stayed with him at his sisters' home in Guildford.

Gertrude Thompson, a young artist Dodgson befriended. She holidayed with him by the sea and dined alone in his rooms. She left a memoir of her times with him.
